RF Microneedling (Pixel 8)

Radiofrequency microneedling combines two proven mechanisms, the controlled micro-injury of microneedling and the deep tissue heating of radiofrequency energy, to deliver collagen induction therapy at a level standard microneedling cannot match. The Pixel 8 system delivers RF energy through insulated needles directly into the dermis, triggering a more intense and sustained remodeling response.

The heat generated by the radiofrequency component causes immediate collagen contraction, a tightening effect visible even after a single treatment, while the micro-injuries from the needles trigger a longer-term collagen rebuilding process that continues for months afterward. The combination makes RF microneedling particularly effective for skin laxity, deep wrinkles, acne scarring, enlarged pores, and stretch marks.

Treatment involves a topical numbing cream applied 30–45 minutes before the session. Most clients describe mild discomfort during treatment as a warm prickling sensation that resolves quickly. Redness and mild swelling are expected for 24–48 hours. Social downtime is typically 2–3 days.

A series of 3 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart is the standard recommendation for most concerns. Maintenance treatments once or twice a year sustain results. RF Microneedling can be combined with PRP/PRFM for enhanced collagen stimulation.
